1. Terms and Conditions

Here is a brief description of the key points.
Processing time
The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies. It usually averages 1-2 business days after the order has been processed.
Customs and import taxes
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I’m not responsible for delays due to customs.
Shipping
I ship all items using DHL Standard with tracking number.
For deliveries within Germany, I offer Free Shipping.
For International deliveries, shipping costs are available when you select the Item in my Etsy Shop.
If you are based in Berlin and would like to save on shipping resources, you can opt for self-collection at the studio I work at or a meeting point convenient for you. Returns and Exchanges
I accept returns and exchanges.
Contact me within: 7 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 14 days of delivery
I do not accept cancellations but please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Can I order custom made ceramics?
I am happy to accept orders for customization. Feel free to send me an email at hello@kokorostudioceramics.com
Can I wash the products in the dishwasher?
All items are dishwasher safe and food safe. However, hand washing extends the life and quality of the products.
3. Privacy
What information I collect
So that I can process your order, you have to provide me with certain information. This includes your name, email address, mailing address, payment information and information about the product you are ordering. You also have the option to provide me with further personal information (for example, for a custom-made ceramic) if you contact me directly.
Why I need your information and how I use it
I refer to a number of legal bases to collect, use and share your information. In fact:

as far as I need your information to provide my services, for example to process your order, settle conflicts or offer customer support;

if you have given your express consent (which you can revoke at any time), for example by registering for my newsletter distribution list;

when it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or court order, or in connection with legal claims, such as the need to keep information about your purchases under tax law; and

insofar as is necessary for the purposes of my legitimate interests – provided these legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests – for example to provide and improve my services. I use your information to provide the services you have requested from me and in my legitimate interest to improve my services.
Disclosure and disclosure of information
Customer data is important for my business. I only release your personal data for certain reasons and under very specific circumstances, as follows:

Service provider: I commission certain trustworthy third-party providers to perform tasks and provide services for my shop, such as parcel services. I pass on your personal data to these third party providers, but only to the extent that they are necessary for the performance of these services.

Business Transfers: If I sell my business or amalgamate with another, I can disclose your information as part of this transaction to the extent permitted by law.

Compliance with laws: I can collect, use, store and share your data if I have a good faith belief that this is appropriate and necessary to: a) respond to a legal process or regulatory requirements; b) enforce my contracts, terms and policies; c) preventing, investigating and correcting fraud and other illegal acts, security or technical problems; or d) protecting the rights, property and safety of my customers or other persons.
Data retention
I only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my privacy policy. However, it is possible that I have to keep this information in order to comply with legal obligations and regulations, to settle disputes and to enforce my agreements. In general, I keep your data for the following period: 4 years.
Transfer of personal data to countries outside the EU
I can store and process your information about third-party hosting services in the U.S. and other countries. Therefore, I can transfer your personal data to countries whose laws on data protection and official surveillance differ from the corresponding laws in your country. If I can assume that I am transferring information about you to countries outside the EU, I will rely on the EU-US Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield.
Your rights
If you live in certain regions, including the EU, you have a number of rights with regard to your personal data. Some of these rights apply in general and others only in certain cases. These rights are described below:

Access: You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I have stored about you by writing to me using the contact information below.

Change, restriction, deletion: You may also be entitled to change your personal data, limit my use of this data or delete it. With the exception of exceptional circumstances (such as when I have to save data for legal reasons), I will generally delete your personal data on request.

Objection: You can object to 1. that I process some of your data with a view to my legitimate interests and 2. that you receive marketing messages from me after you have expressly agreed to this. In such cases, I will delete your personal data, unless I can demonstrate convincing reasons worthy of protection for their further use or it is required for legal reasons.

Complaint: If you live in the EU and would like to raise concerns about my use of your data – without prejudice to other rights to which you are entitled – you are entitled to contact your local data protection authority with these concerns.

All requests for correction or for access to your personal data must be in writing. We will endeavor to respond to your request within 30 days, and if that is not possible, we will inform you of the time by which we will respond to you.
